No.

So you referenced "The Protector." Good for you. Non sequitor comedy died a long, long time ago, though. Sorry.

A Little Disappointing

I'm giving six stars only because the animation was good. There was very little to the story. I was expecting some sort of twist, or anything more than just yelling at the cat. You have talent, and a better story would serve your skills better.

The Ending Made It

The story was pretty ordinary (and a little cliche) up until the stills at the end; that's really what made this work. Presentation and voices were really good.

Rule!

Wally Pleasant rules, and so does this video.

vakavadesigns responds:

Wally was really nice to let me use his music. There's a good reason he's not called Wally Dreadful, Wally Misery or Wally Dirtball!

I Got Bored Watching It

It's perfectly okay not to finish something if you're too bored with it to make it interesting.

That's enough

That last movie was front-paged as a sick joke on the rest of us who work hard on our animation. It doesn't happen often, so don't expect to get famous through half-assed junk like this. Spend more time on your material, particularly the story. Just because you think it's funny when you starts it doesn't mean it'll look that way to everyone.

It wasn't half assed ok it was full-assed get it right guys jeeze

Veeery Sloppy

I'm not even certain how you could have messed up the preloader, since the instructions are so incredibly simple (and, now, right there in your final product for everyone to see). This looks like something that was done without ever checking it to see if it flowed properly. If you have any desire to make something that looks even halfway decent, you can find plenty of help of the Forum.

At least it has an end.

You get one star because I made it to the end. It's really more for me, but I'm letting you look at it either way. I'm sorry that this type of "art/humor" played itself out long before you made this, but the simple fact was that it was never going to last very long, unlike, for example, Impressionism or even slapstick. The difference is that those two take a large amount of skill, work, or talent, and therefore can be appreciated by a larger segment of the population. This, however, required very little from its creator, and therefore has much less widespread and lasting appeal.

I had more to say, but I'll just stop here. I like my little star; it's like a tiny trophy that says "I did it!"

Not a bad idea...

The format is a nice idea, but the execution is lacking. Try improving on the lighting (i.e. using more than just the camera's flash) and maybe trying some sets (unless the "bedroom floor" look was what you wanted). A more involved plot would be nice. Also, there's a left-facing arrow on the credits page that does nothing. Otherwise, it's a cute comic.

Kyora-Mishiso responds:

This was more of a test to see what I could do with the series. This and Episode 2. And it is supposed to be set in my bedroom, for the most part. It's supposed to be "The Toys in my room have come to life, and they're going to do whatever the fuck they want" kinda thing.
Thanks for the feedback. The lighting is especially tricky, but I have been attempting to work on it. Hopefully, Episode 2 will seem some marked improvement. That'll be appearing either later today or tomorrow.

Rule!

Love the exaggerated Mario voice; take that, Charles Martinet!

I think that pretty much sums it up.
